Google launched the Chrome web store early this month. As we expected, there has been a huge surge in the number of apps being submitted to the web store and it becomes really tough to know which of them are really worth trying, since many of the apps are nothing but the bookmarks to the homepage of the service. I have no clue why Google is allowing such low quality bookmarks as apps in the web store. So, here is an attempt to filter out the best Chrome web apps for the benefit of each one of us who are Chrome users.
