Over the years, Apple has been consistent with offering top-of-the-line display panels on its iPad, and the all-new iPad Pro is no different. The device features an edge-to-edge Liquid Retina display that comes with P3 wide color support to offer vivid, true-to-life, and rich viewing experience. To add to that, the display uses the ProMotion technology, which automatically adjusts the display refresh rate up to 120Hz for better responsiveness and a smoother experience. Moreover, you also get True Tone and anti-reflective coating. The iPad comes in two screen sizes: 11-inch and 12.9-inch. At its core, the new iPad Pro comes with the A12Z Bionic chip running under the hood, which according to Apple, “is faster and more powerful than most Windows PC laptops”. The chipset aids with offering faster and improved performance for tasks such as editing 4K videos or designing 3D models. On the software front, the iPad Pro runs on the latest iPadOS 13.4, which brings along a bunch of changes such as trackpad support to offer users a new way to interact with their device and multi-touch gestures that make navigation easier and faster. Not to mention, the new Magic Keyboard that comes with a floating design with smooth angle adjustment and a backlit keyboard and trackpad to provide a better typing experience.
Talking about other aspects, the new iPad claims to offer a battery life of up to 10 hours, faster Wi-Fi connectivity with gigabit-class LTE. It also comes with five studio-quality microphones for better audio capturing and immersive audio experience. Moreover, the four-speaker audio also automatically adjusts to any orientation, taking the audio game to the next level. What’s even more interesting with the iPad Pro is that it features the LiDAR scanner that opens up the possibilities to a different level. Essentially, the scanner aids with measuring the distance to surrounding objects (up to 5 meters away), which is then combined with data from other sources (cameras and sensors), and processed using the A12Z Bionic chip to offer new opportunities in the field of AR. Moreover, it also improves the accuracy and performance of AR-related apps on your device. For optics, the new iPad Pro features a dual-camera array on the rear, which includes a 12MP primary sensor accompanied by a 10MP ultra-wide-angle lens to capture a larger field-of-view.
