Being powered by an AMD chip, the all-new variant of the Honor Magicbook is indeed a cheapest among all its siblings. That said, the processor inside the new Honor laptop is a pretty capable one. It’s powered by the new 14nm technology based Ryzen R5 2500U quad-core processor. The AMD chip comes with a default core frequency of 2.0GHz and a top speed of 3.6GHz. Alongside the Ryzen CPU, the Honor Magicbook feature a Radeon Vega 8 graphics. This replaces, the NVidia MX150 found in the Intel inside variants. Additionally, the ultrabook packs 8GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM and 256GB SSD storage. The rest of the specifications of the Honor Magicbook Sharp Dragon Ryzen Edition is similar to its Intel-powered siblings. It features the same 15.8mm thin all-metal aluminum alloy chassis that results in a net weight of 1.47kg. The laptop comes with two custom-made fans that help increase the airflow and in turn, keep the notebook cool. That aside, the Honor Magicbook comes with a 14-inch FHD IPS LCD display with bare minimal bezels on both sides, thereby resulting in an 81% screen to body ratio. The laptop delivers up to 12 hours of battery life thanks to the 57.4Wh battery.

The Honor Magicbook Sharp Dragon Ryzen Edition comes in only in a single Glacier Silver color hue. The new ultrabook packs four speakers and also support Dolby Surround Sound system. It runs on the latest version of Windows 10. It’s currently up for pre-orders on Jingdong, and the first sale will take place on June 6. This will be followed by a subsequent flash sale on June 8.
