Huawei P40 Lite: Display
The P40 Lite flaunts a 6.4-inch IPS LCD display with a hole-punch cutout on the top left to house the front-facing camera, which offers a 90.6% screen-to-body ratio with Full HD+ screen resolution. It comes in three color options: Midnight Black, Sakura Pink, and Crush Green.
Huawei P40 Lite: Performance
Under the hood, the Huawei P40 Lite comes with an octa-core Kirin 810 chipset with Mali-G52 MP6 GPU running at its core, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable with microSD card). There is a 4,200mAh battery with 40W SuperCharge technology to power the internals. The company says the 40W fast charging can charge the battery to 70% in 30 minutes. On the software front, the handset runs on Android 10 out of the box with Huawei’s EMUI 10 running on top. As expected, there is no support for Google Mobile Services (GMS), and instead, the device comes with Huawei’s in-house equivalent for the same (HMS), which includes the likes of Huawei App Gallery. Among other things, the phone comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication, USB Type-C, along with support for dual 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.0 LE.
Huawei P40 Lite: Camera
In the camera department, the P40 Lite sports a quad-camera setup on the rear, with an LED flash. The setup includes a 48MP primary snapper, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with 120-degree FoV, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, the handset includes a 16MP camera, housed within the punch-hole cutout, for selfies.
