The Windows 10 Mobile powered flagship phones are being launched in India within a month of global availability. The smaller Lumia 950 is fitted with a 5.2-inch display and the larger sibling 950 XL comes with a 5.7-inch screen, both the displays offer a pixel density of up to 544ppi. Both devices come with Organic OLED display with an improvised glance screen which lets user take a look at the important notifications right on their screen without waking up the device. Much like its predecessors, the Lumia 950 and 950 XL comes with a 20-Megapixel primary sensor and is expected to be a imaging powerhouse. Both the Lumias not only come with a different sized display but they are also powered by different SoC, the Lumia 950 will be powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 while the 950XL will be powered by Snapdragon 810, however both the devices will be fitted with a 3GB of RAM. Additionally, Microsoft has put in a USB Type-C connector which can charge the devices by 50 percent within 30 minutes. Microsoft should also be launching the display dock in India on the 30th. The Continuum feature will turn the phone into a full fledged PC and also allow support for a Bluetooth mouse and a keyboard, additionally the phone can also be wirelessly connected to the monitor. Globally, the Lumia 950 is priced at $550 and the Lumia 950 XL is priced at $650. In the US, Microsoft is bundling in a free display dock worth $99. We should wait and watch what offers and what pricing Microsoft will come with the devices and accessories in India.
