On the outside, the RealMe Buds seem like any other pair of wired earphones with a black overall and a three-button remote for controlling the volume, playback, you get the idea. The ear tips are said to be bent ever so slightly at 45-degrees for producing a more comfortable fit, especially for prolonged periods. Speaking of the tips, they’re magnetic, a perk usually reserved for more higher-end Bluetooth earphones. The cable itself is made out of kevlar fiber which prevents it from getting tangled quickly and is break-resistant. As for the audio, RealMe Buds have 11 mm drivers which the company claims are capable of delivering 160% louder bass than the competition. Unfortunately, though, the 3.5mm headphone jack is not gold-coated which is a too bit much to ask considering the price. RealMe Buds will be available in only one color option starting next month. Alongside these earphones, RealMe also announced its new selfie-centric, RealMe U1 smartphone. It has a 25-megapixel camera and is the first smartphone to be powered by MediaTek’s latest Helio P60 chipset. There’s a 6.3-inch 1080p screen, to 4GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of onboard storage, and a 3500mAh battery. On the rear, you will find two cameras — a primary 13-megapixel snapper with an aperture of f/2.2 and another 2-megapixel sensor for depth-sensing.
