The smartphone is said to feature a 5.5-inch QHD display, which will put it to fight against such devices as the iPhone 6 Plus, the Galaxy Note 4, the LG G3 and others. The One M9 could feature a Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB of RAM. According to the original source, HTC is going to drop the UltraPixel camera and will opt for a more market-friendly 16MP rear-facing shooter with optical image stabilization (OIS). Rumor has it that many users that have passed on the HTC One (M8) because of the 4MP sensor, so HTC now wants to make sure that double digits on its specs sheet will make for a much better impression. This was an expected move, if we consider that the M8 Eeye version already ditched the Ultra Pixel technology. However, this has been done for marketing purposes, since the quality of pictures doesn’t differ that much. HTC has launched its One (M8) back in late March of this year, so if the company will maintain the same release cycle, we could see it announced at the upcoming Mobile World Congress from Barcelona. The handset could be available in 32/64/128GB storage options, but there will be a microSD slot for extra room. A massive 3,500mAh battery will feed this baby. There’s also mention of a HTC One (M9) Prime version that could be sporting Bose audio. That’s all we know for now but we’ll be keeping our ears to the ground and if we hear more, you’ll be the first to know it
