The Vivo X20 Plus UD looks exactly similar to its predecessor. It features a large 6.43-inch Super AMOLED 18:9 FHD+ display. The Synaptics made in-display fingerprint sensor is placed right under the display. It’s capable of unlocking the smartphone under 6-7 ms. The sensor works using a photoelectric reflection technology for determining your finger. Apart from unlocking the smartphone users can use the in-display sensor for making payments through AliPay or WeChat. To make it convenient for users to unlock the phone, the Always-on-Display portrays an image of a fingerprint right above the area housing the sensor. So, users can simply tap on the area to unlock the Vivo X20 Plus UD. The internals of the all-new Vivo X20 UD hasn’t changed much over its predecessor. It still packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor and 4GB RAM. Moreover, the smartphone comes with 128GB of onboard storage, besides housing a microSD card slot for memory expansion. The Vivo X20 Plus comes with a dual 12MP + 5MP rear camera setup. Additionally, the phone comes with a 12MP selfie shooter. Incidentally, the X20 Plus UD houses a new 256GB Vivo Image Cube sensor processor. The flagship Vivo smartphone comes with Face Unlock, AK4376A DAC, and 3,800mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, it features WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, micro USB and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Unlike its predecessor, the new Vivo X20 Plus UD doesn’t feature a fingerprint sensor on the rear, as the same is now present in the front.
